History
IES Global (IESG) was founded and formed early in 1994 in Sydney, Australia. IESG's goals were to open an educational service company to the growing western world. Although there are many different types of education, IESG wanted to expose East Asia to the world.
The initial stages of IESG began by sending Chinese students abroad to western countries to study. Shortly after, the success of this program sparked interest from western students wanting to study abroad in China.
With a reputation among students and providers, IESG expanded its operation and its links in education to the stage where it had in partnered with many education institutions, many of which were outside of Sydney.
In 2003, we decided to base our business operations in China, citing the high interest in China from around the world. This soon resulted in the opening of IESG's Beijing office in 2005, where the IESG team currently resides and runs a number of successful inbound programs to China.
IESG are responsible for bringing in hundreds of successful teacher interns, work internship placements and successful Mandarin language graduates to and from China.
