Your Volunteer Program China Package

Pre-Departure information pack. You will receive a full guide to living and volunteering in China prior to beginning the program so that you can be better informed of the Chinese culture, traditions and what it takes to be a volunteer

Visa Assistance. We will provide you will all the documentation needed to apply for you Chinese F Visa

Airport Pickup. When landing in a new country for the first time, we know how daunting it can be so that’s why we will greet you at the airport and take you to central Beijing and to your accommodation for the orientation period

Staff Support. Our experienced international and local staff are dedicated to providing invaluable 24/7 onshore support throughout the duration of the program. All of our staff have participated in our programs themselves or are bilingual

Orientation. We will give a comprehensive orientation to China, volunteering and what to expect throughout the program

Accommodation & Meals. For the first few days you will be staying in central Beijing where your meals are also provided. Throughout your placement you will stay in the volunteer dormitory with lunch and evening meal included

Welcome dinner. Upon arriving you will be taken for a traditional Chinese banquet with other volunteers and our team

Welcome pack. Upon arriving you will receive a pack including a volunteer handbook, T-shirt, Mandarin phrase book and much more!

Transfers. Our program coordinators will take you directly to the orphanage at the start of the program and bring you back into the city after the program completion

Training. You will spend the first week of your volunteer placement being provided with training on how to work with children and shadowing the orphanage staff

City tour. Our program coordinators will familiarize you with Beijing by taking you to see some of the main attractions and show you how to explore the city by foot and public transport!

Mandarin Classes. Throughout your volunteer placement you will receive 2 Mandarin classes per week from the teachers at the orphanage. We will also provide you with a comprehensive textbook to aid your learning

Completion certificate. Upon completion of the program we will award you with a volunteer certificate which will outline your contribution to the organisation
